Located in the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, the Henry B. Plant Museum is a museum that contains actual furnishings that were enjoyed by the first guests here. The building was a former Victorian railroad resort, and is now a National Historic Landmark.

At this museum, you’ll find exhibits and artifacts that reflect what life was like at the hotel during turn-of-the-century America. Plant was an American transportation pioneer, and he was responsible for a network of railroads and steamship lines throughout Florida.
